The ceremony would be presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Saburi Adejimi Adesanya in the presence of other Principal Officers. Provosts and Deans are expected to present their students for the mandatory matriculation oath taking while all matriculants are expected to be seated by 10.00a.m.
CRITERIA FOR COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNSAll College/Faculty Officers are expected to collect Academic Gowns for their fresh students from the Directorate of Students’ Affairs between Friday, 18th November, 2016 to Tuesday, 22nd November, 2016.
To this end, each fresh students are expected to pay the sum of One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only through the University Point Of Sales machine (POS) and obtain receipts for the collection of the Academic Gowns at their various Colleges/Faculties.
After the Ceremony, each College/Faculty Officers shall be required to return the following to the Directorate of Students’ Affairs on or before Wednesday, 30th November, 2016.
All the Academic Gowns collected
Comprehensive list of students who collected the Gowns;
Original copies of receipts as evidence of payment made by students.
It is important to ensure full compliance with the above directive.
