ABU, Zaria 2016/2017 School Of Basic & Remedial Studies New Students Registration Procedures

The Ahmadu Bello University School of Basic and Remedial Studies wishes to inform all newly admitted students that the Registration Exercise for 2016/17 academic session commences on Monday 14th November, 2016 and ends on Friday 25th November, 2016.

Below are the procedures for a successful Registration Exercise.

Stage 1

All admitted students are expected to present their downloaded application forms for verification at the School gate.

Stage 2

When verified, you are then to proceed to C15 for Bio Data Screening. At this point, you will be required to present the originals and at least three (3) photocopies of the following:

  1. Downloaded Application Form 
  2. Primary School Leaving Certificate
  3. Local Government Indigene Certificate
  4. O/Level Result(s)
  5. Birth Certificate (Declaration of Age is only accepted in the absence of birth certificate)

Stage 3

Proceed to Geography Laboratory for Academic Screening. You will be expected to present the original and endorsed copies of your documents. After screening you will be issued with a bank teller.

Stage 4

You go to School Café and collect your Admission letter.

Stage 5

You should then proceed to Zenith Bank Plc along Zaria Road, Funtua with your endorsed teller and pay the registration fees.

Stage 6

Return to Geography Laboratory and collect your School official receipt and proceed to the Academic Registration Desk in t he same venue to complete Academic Registration. You are to submit photocopy of your Admission letter at this point and you will be given SBRS Registration Number.

Stage 7

Proceed to Security Office with 2 recent passport photographs (in white background) for ID card processing.

Stage 8

Finally, you proceed to Students Affairs Unit for accommodation.
