Federal College of Agriculture, Akure Matriculates 350 Students For 2015/2016 Session

No fewer than 350 fresh students took their matriculation oath at the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure (FECA) in an event held recently.
Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, the Provost of the college, Dr. Samson Odedina, warned the new students to avoid all forms of violence and social vices on campus.

He said that any student found engaging in any violent act would be expelled from the college.

Odedina, who expressed disappointment in the youths of the so called most religious country in the world, lamented that most of the agencies of socialisation have failed in their duty of moulding the character of the young ones.
The provost officially welcomed them to the institution and re-emphasised the need for the freshers to take their studies seriously.
Highlight of the event was the administration of matriculation oath on the new students by the Registrar of the college, Dr Pius Adebisi.
