IAUE 2016/2017 Basic Studies Admission Application Commence

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission
into a one-year Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) programme in Ignatius Ajuru
University of Education for 2016/2017 Academic Session.

The available courses of study in the Faculties are:

Secretarial Studies
Faculty of Education:
Psychology, Guidance and Counseling
Primary Education Studies
Faculty of Humanities:
History and Diplomatic Studies
Religious and Cultural Studies
Fine and Applied Arts
Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences:
Computer Science
Human Kinetics, Health and Safety Education
Integrated Science
Faculty of Social Sciences:
Geography and Environmental Studies
Political Science
Social Studies
Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education:
Agricultural Science
Home Economics/Hotel Management
Technical Education

Entry requirements

Candidates must possess at list (5) credit passes, including English
Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in the SSCE or
GCE (WAEC/NECO) or equivalent qualifications.

Three (3) of the credit passes must be relevant to the discipline into
which the candidate is seeking admission. Candidates must register for
and write the 2016/2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME) of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Application forms are obtainable from the Admission’s Office at the
Rumuolumeni Campus of the University on payment of an application fee of
N15,000.00 (Fifteen thousand naira) only made in payable bank draft in
favour of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni.

Closing date:

Completed application forms must be returned with photocopies of
relevant credentials and the original copies of Bursary Receipt for the
payment of application fee to the Registrar, Ignatius Ajuru University
of Education, Rumuolumeni not later than Wednesday, 30th November, 2016.
