The Joint Admission And Matriculation Board, (JAMB) has approved the cancellation of 62,140 UTME Results conducted in May, 2017, candidates affected were also ordered to re-write.
The Statistics of the withheld results has been outlined below:
The 62,140 cancelled results include of 57,646 candidates in centres-induced malpractice, 3,811 late registration, and 683 candidates who had biometric challenges.
The board also cancelled the results of another 2,052 individual candidates found culpable of examination malpractice.
At least the board has made provision for 62,140 candidates to re-write the examinations.
