UCH, Ibadan 2016/2017 Medical Laboratory Science Programme Application Form Out [APPLY]

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for 24 months Special Fellowship Programme of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), for the 2016/2017 Academic Session in the following Specialties of Medical Laboratory Science:

1. Chemical Pathology

2. Haematology

3. Blood Transfusion Science

4. Medical Microbiology

5. Medical Parasitology

6. Histopathology

7. Virology


Candidates must be holders of BMLS/AMLS for at least 2 years (post NYSC). Applicants must also be holders of current Licence to practice as Medical Laboratory Scientists.


Selection of candidates will be based on Academic qualifications, experience and a good statement of purpose stating how the programme will improve your skill in the practice of MLS as well as meeting your career goal.


Application form can be obtained from the Medical Laboratory Science Education Unit (formerly School of Medical laboratory Science), University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan from August – December, 2016. Application Form costs #5,000.00 payable into UCH TSA Account (Schools Account) – in any Commercial Bank in Nigeria. 
Application duly completed must be returned to the Deputy Director (Training), Medical Laboratory Science Education Unit, UCH, Ibadan, not later than 31st of December 2016 – No late form. However, late submission in January attracts a fine of Two thousand naira only (N2,000).
Each application should be accompanied with 
– Academic credentials 
– Personal Statement of purpose
– Current Licence showing Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
– Two Passport photographs.
